Warranty Policy

1. Overview
This Warranty Policy explains the limited warranty coverage for products sold by RF StateSide, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) through www.rfstateside.com. It applies to physical hardware products and does not apply to digital products, software, or firmware downloads unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Limited Warranty for Physical Products
Unless otherwise noted on the product page, RF StateSide, LLC provides a limited 90-day warranty from the date of delivery for physical products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Under this limited warranty, we will, at our option:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace the product with an equivalent item, or
- Provide a refund or store credit, as appropriate
The remedy chosen will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability, and overall condition of the returned item.
3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Improper installation, wiring, or connections
- Operation beyond specified ratings (voltage, current, RF power, duty cycle, SWR, etc.)
- Insufficient cooling, airflow, or heatsinking
- Short circuits, reverse polarity, or incorrect power supply use
- Physical abuse, dropping, crushing, or mechanical damage
- Exposure to moisture, corrosion, or extreme environmental conditions
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or component substitutions
- Use in violation of regulatory requirements (such as FCC or local RF regulations)
Kits, bare PCBs, or partially assembled products that are damaged during assembly or soldering are not covered by this warranty.
4. No Warranty for Digital Products & Software
Digital products—including software, firmware, configuration files, activation keys, and downloads—are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.
RF StateSide, LLC does not guarantee that software or firmware will be error-free, compatible with all systems, or suitable for any particular application.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty eligibility, you are responsible for:
- Reading and following the documentation and specifications for each product
- Ensuring proper RF loading, SWR, cooling, and power supply design
- Using the product within its published electrical, thermal, and RF limits
- Installing products in a safe, compliant, and professional manner
High-power RF and high-voltage systems are inherently risky. You are solely responsible for safe design, installation, and operation.
6. How to Request Warranty Service
If you believe your product is defective and within the warranty period:

- Include your order number, date of purchase, and a description of the issue
- Attach clear photos or videos of the product and the problem, if possible
We may ask additional questions or request diagnostic measurements to help determine the cause of failure. If a return is authorized, you will receive instructions on how and where to ship the product.
7. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service
- If the product is confirmed to be defective under this limited warranty, RF StateSide, LLC may cover return shipping of the repaired or replacement item at our discretion.
- If the product is found not to be defective or is damaged by misuse, improper installation, or excluded causes, you may be responsible for shipping costs and any repair or replacement charges.
8. Limitation of Warranty
This limited warranty is the exclusive remedy for defective RF StateSide products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RF StateSide, LLC:
- Disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Is not responsible for damage to other equipment, antennas, radios, or systems
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
